Payment Methods

At Outdoorbrands, you can complete your order using the most common and secure online payment methods. There are no additional fees for choosing a specific payment method.

Please note: during checkout, you can select a payment option to complete your order with an online payment.
Choose the secure CM Payments platform for iDEAL | Wero, Mastercard , Visa and Bancontact, or select the secure PayPal platform.

If you prefer not to pay online immediately, you can choose IBAN – Bank Transfer. You may place your order first and complete the payment later via a manual bank transfer. We do not offer pay-after-delivery services such as Klarna or Afterpay.

iDEAL is now branded as iDEAL | Wero. iDEAL has long been the most widely used online banking payment method in the Netherlands. It is currently transitioning to Wero, a new European payment solution for cross-border payments. From 2026 onwards, you will increasingly see the combined iDEAL | Wero branding. Payments are still completed securely via your own bank’s online environment.

Paying with Mastercard is fast and secure. During checkout, you enter your card details. For additional security, your bank may request extra verification via 3-D Secure, for example through your banking app.

Paying with Visa works similarly to Mastercard. You enter your card details and complete the payment. Visa payments may also use 3-D Secure for an additional verification step.

Customers from Belgium can pay using Bancontact. Payments are completed via your banking app or the Payconiq by Bancontact app, in a familiar and secure environment. The payment is processed instantly and free of charge.

PayPal is a globally accepted payment platform that allows you to pay securely online or on mobile devices, without sharing your payment details directly with the webshop.

When selecting PayPal in our checkout, you will be redirected to the PayPal environment. There, you can choose how you would like to pay.

Within PayPal, the following payment options may be available, depending on your account, country and device:

• PayPal balance
• Linked bank account
• Debit or credit cards (such as American Express, Discover etc.)
• Apple Pay (subject to availability)

In some countries and for certain accounts, PayPal may also offer deferred payment options such as Pay Later.

PayPal also provides, under certain conditions, buyer and seller protection. More information can be found on the PayPal website .

Please note: due to PayPal’s protection policies, we can only ship orders to the delivery address registered with PayPal. If you wish to use a different delivery address, please select another payment method.

If you choose IBAN – Bank Transfer, you place your order first and complete the payment afterwards via a manual bank transfer.

Our bank details are included in the automatic order confirmation email. In most cases, you will also receive a separate email with payment instructions.

Until the payment has been received, your order is not yet finalized. We reserve the items as carefully as possible. If an item is no longer in stock when your payment arrives, the paid amount will be refunded immediately.
