It blocks rain and still allows for sweat/ water vapor to pass the membrane to run-off. It has taped seams, a detachable hood, waterproof zippered chest pocket, large zippered handwarmer pockets and holds a High-Vent™ mesh lining for membrane protection/ extra comfort.
