The WrightSock Fuel Crew is a mediumweight, double-layer hiking sock designed to help prevent blisters while providing maximum cushioning for long hikes and demanding trekking adventures. Thanks to WrightSock's patented double-layer construction, friction is absorbed between the two sock layers rather than against your skin. At the same time, both layers efficiently wick away moisture, helping to keep your feet dry, comfortable and healthy, even during extended periods of activity.

 

The Crew height extends to mid-calf and features maximum cushioning under the foot for outstanding comfort and shock absorption. As the most heavily cushioned sock in the WrightSock range, the Fuel is ideal for hiking, trekking and long-distance walks with moderate to heavy packs in cooler conditions.

Materials

• Inner layer: 66% polyester, 30% nylon, 4% elastane.
• Outer layer: 68% polyester, 24% nylon, 8% elastane.
• The patented Dri-Wright II yarn features multi-channel fibres that rapidly wick away moisture, while nylon enhances durability and elastane provides a comfortable, close-fitting fit.

Comfort & Fit

• Soft, smooth inner layer is unbleached and undyed for exceptional next-to-skin comfort.
• Breathable outer layer with an open mesh structure promotes airflow and rapid moisture evaporation.
• Both sock layers are permanently bonded during a single knitting process, while still allowing the movement between the layers required to minimise friction.

Generously cushioned impact zones under the foot provide outstanding shock absorption and long-lasting comfort during demanding hikes and multi-day treks. As the most cushioned model in the WrightSock range, Fuel is the ideal choice for hikers and trekkers who want maximum support and protection over long distances or while carrying moderate to heavy packs. If you prefer a lighter feel, choose the medium-cushioned Escape or the non-cushioned Stride instead. Footwear category: B + C + D.

Care

• Machine washable at 40 °C.
• Do not use fabric softener.
• Line drying is recommended, although tumble drying on a low heat setting is possible.
