This updated style, the Jack Wolfskins Atacama LS shirt is a wicking, fast-drying outdoor shirt with UV protection, Microban® antibacterial odor control properties and an integrated ventilation system. For town or trail, hiking or leisure – a great piece to wear on a hot summer day.

It is now made of recycled polyamide, a strong, abrasion-resistant yarn, in Jack Wolfskin’s TEXAdri Ecosphere 70D Antiodour Ripstop fabric. A weave that feels pleasantly soft to the skin even in the searing heat and ripstop, so small punctures won’t lead to bigger tears.

It offers active moisture management to wick moisture away from the skin to the outside, where it can quickly evaporate. And a high UV protection factor of UPF 40+ (UVA & UVB) to protect you from sunburns.

The Microban® finish is another big advantage e.g. when you’re travelling. The fabric is specially treated to reduce the build-up of unpleasant odours, so you feel fresh all day long.

What stands out is the sophisticated mesh-structured lining with a venting pleat in the back for ventilation to create airflow, to help evaporate sweat to cool you down. For even more ventilation or a bit of sunshine, simply roll up the sleeves and fasten them with the loop provided.
